How it works

HOTIPARTS connects companies that hold spare parts in stock with the people who are looking for them. We handle every request from start to finish: price, payment, shipping and inspection.

For buyers

  1. Search for the part. Type the part number: results appear as you type, even with a typo, a missing dash or an extra space. You can also browse the catalogue by sector, brand, model and part group.
  2. Add it to your request basket. Prices are not displayed. You can see in which countries the part is available. You can group up to 30 part numbers in a single request.
  3. Request an offer. Enter the quantity, the delivery country and the urgency. We ask the suppliers who have the part; they reply within 48 hours.
  4. Receive your offer. We compare the replies and select the lowest total for you, part and shipping included. The offer is valid for 7 days.
  5. Pay securely. By card or TWINT (via Stripe), PayPal or bank transfer. The supplier is only paid once you have received the part and the inspection period has ended.
  6. Receive and check the part. The supplier ships it directly to you, with a tracking number. After delivery, you have 5 days to confirm receipt or report a problem.

For suppliers

  1. Register for free. We verify your company (UID register in Switzerland, VAT number via VIES in the EU, manual check elsewhere). As soon as your account is approved, you can import your stock.
  2. Import your stock. Upload an Excel or CSV file with at least the part number, brand, description and quantity, or enter your parts one by one. With every import, you choose whether to add the lines to your list or to replace it.
  3. Receive quote requests. When a buyer is looking for a part you have, you receive a request by e-mail and in your account. You only see the delivery country and postcode.
  4. Reply within 48 hours. Enter the price of the part and the shipping price, and certify the condition of the part (new, used, any defects). A reminder is sent after 24 hours.
  5. Ship the part. If your quote is selected and the buyer has paid, you receive the delivery address (without phone number or e-mail) and a shipping label to print. You send the part and enter the tracking number.
  6. Get paid. We transfer the agreed amount to you once the buyer's inspection period has ended.

Protected communication

Buyers and suppliers communicate only through HOTIPARTS. Every message is reviewed before it is passed on, and contact details are removed. This way the buyer pays safely, the supplier is sure to be paid and both remain anonymous.
