These terms supplement the terms of use. They apply to anyone looking for parts on HOTIPARTS (the "buyer"). Version of November 2026.
1. Account types
- Company: your company is checked (UID register, VIES or other evidence) and then validated by HOTIPARTS. You can prepare and send your requests straight away: they are kept and go out as soon as your account is validated.
- Private person: your account is validated as soon as your e-mail address is confirmed. You must be an adult. You can send up to 5 requests per day. You only see suppliers who agree to answer private persons, and only in countries where this option is open.
2. Requests
- A request is free and does not commit you to buy.
- For a part in the catalogue, the request is sent automatically to the suppliers who have declared it. HOTIPARTS may also send it to other verified suppliers.
- For a part that cannot be found, you can start a search: we spread it in the network and may invite other companies to register. We do not guarantee that the part will be found.
- Describe the part, quantity, wanted condition and delivery country precisely. Do not write your contact details in the request or on photos.
- You can cancel a request as long as no connection is in progress.
3. Proposals
Suppliers' answers appear immediately, without their name: "Supplier A, B, C…", with the country and account type (verified company or private person). A proposal may state the quantity, the confirmed condition, a price or none, whether the price is negotiable, the lead time, an estimate of shipping, the delivery rule and the validity date (14 days by default).
This information is given by the supplier, under their responsibility. These are not offers from HOTIPARTS. A displayed price may change; only the final agreement between you and the supplier counts.
4. Questions
You can ask the supplier questions before the connection (ready-made questions or free text). They go through HOTIPARTS and remain anonymous. Contact details and links are filtered; a suspicious message is checked before it is forwarded.
5. Connection
- The "Request connection" button asks the supplier to exchange contact details. It is not a purchase and does not commit you to anything. You confirm it by ticking the box provided.
- You choose what you share: at least one means of contact (e-mail or phone). For a business account, the company name is always shared. A private person's address is never shared.
- The supplier has 5 days to accept or refuse. Without an answer, the request expires and you can choose another proposal.
- After acceptance, you receive the contact details the supplier has chosen to share. You then deal with them directly.
- The number of connections per day is limited to prevent abuse.
6. After the connection
Any purchase is made directly between you and the supplier, on their terms and under the law applicable between you. HOTIPARTS is not involved in payment, delivery, warranty or invoicing. Tip: check the part and the terms before paying, and prefer a traceable payment method.
After 7 and 21 days, we ask you whether the connection was successful. Your answer is optional and contains no amount. If there is a problem, you can send a complaint from the connection page.
7. What is forbidden
It is forbidden to make false requests, to request connections without a real intention, or to resell, publish or use the contact details received for advertising.
