The parts that sit in a garage

• The end of a franchise or service contract. Manufacturers reorganise their networks. A garage that loses its brand keeps the brand-specific parts.
• Customer orders never collected. The part arrived, but the customer sold the car or found another fix. The supplier's return period has expired.
• The wrong version. Wrong model year, wrong engine, wrong side: the part stays new in its box.
• Body parts after a claim. Parts are ordered for a repair, then the insurer writes the car off.
• A garage changing hands or closing. The owner retires and the successor does not want the stock.

Every year these parts lose value, often 20 to 25%. After a few years they are worth nothing on the books, while a buyer elsewhere may be looking for them.

Who is looking for car parts

Cars stay on the road longer and longer. When a manufacturer stops supplying a part, an independent garage or a private owner looks for the original part number, often in another country. The same goes for classic and modern classic cars, whose owners look for new original parts left in someone's stock.

Get started in 3 steps

1. Register the company

   Free. We check your company before the first publication: UID register, VAT via VIES or manual check.

2. Publish the list

   An Excel or CSV export from your software is enough: part number, brand, description. Add the model, quantity and condition if you can: buyers also search by model.

3. Answer and accept

   You answer requests online, without your name. If the buyer wants to talk to you, you accept the connection for free and deal with them directly.
